    Welcome to the Gregson F.C.

Here we go dolphin shagger fans. The 2007/2008 season is upon us and this time its personal. Last season produced a number of highs and lows. For the first time ever a cup final was contested by a Gregson side, even though we were ultimately stuffed 4 -1 by a youthful Bowerham F.C. It was the midfield dynamo Adrian Thomas who drove in the goal of the game a 25 yarder into top corner.

It was also the first year a Gregson B team was fielded, although the side finished bottom of the pile in their debut season it was an acheivement to survive with some memorable guts and blood perfomances to look back on.

Gregson A also pulled off a long unbeaten run reminescent of the 2005/2006 which ultimately saw the team finish one place better at 5th in the league, and only 1 place from promotion to division two, however there was a very healthy goal difference to boast about with 55 goals knocked in with only 30 conceded (a club record). There have been some casualties to the squad rota in the closed season most notabley Michael Butler our golden boot last year has left, but there are some new recruits this season.

So bring on the action and keep up to date with the unofficial website of Gregson F.C. remember you've not lived until you've had carnal knowledge of an aquatic mammal

Key:

Depressed, soundly thrashed

Miffed, should of got something, we wuz robbed

Slightly edged it, should of won but fair result, fair exchange no robbery

Happy with the result at the end of day

Winning by a country mile, then decided winning all the time was boring

Fantastic result for the boys, are we Brazil in disguise?

Kicked off the park by a bunch of big thugs who had no desire to play football and a referee who showed no inclination of brandishing a yellow card let alone a red
